Role Overview:

Bupa’s digital landscape is constantly evolving and to help us achieve this we are looking to expand our team of experienced Architects to help us design and shape our technology roadmaps in the Identity and Access Management arena.  This key role within Bupa UK IT will be responsible for designing best in breed Identity and Access Management solutions that deliver measurable benefit to Bupa and ultimately our 32 million members worldwide.

The Identity Solution Designer role works with colleagues from across the UK business to understand and translate business requirements into digital solutions that are fully aligned with the organisational digital, architectural and IT strategies and support delivery to make sure they are implemented correctly. As an Identity and Access Management subject matter expert, you will be responsible for driving best practice, educating IT and business colleagues on Identity and Access Management technologies and delivery, and feeding into Bupa’s digital strategy.

What you’ll do:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather, analyse and manage business requirements.

  • Deliver and Lead multiple Identity and Access Management Projects.

  • Translating requirements into best of breed solutions that are aligned to the Bupa strategy.

  • Ensure solution designs are aligned with appropriate policies, rules, standards and strategies.

  • Support delivery teams during delivery to ensure solution integrity and provide functional and technical guidance to stakeholders and delivery teams.

  • Develop and maintain documentation associated with the solution delivery.

  • Input into the IT strategy and supporting architecture.

  • Be a digital subject matter expert and go-to person for all things Identity.

  • Be a champion for quality and technical excellence.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience of digital projects and emerging digital technologies, ideally gained within a digital enterprise scale organisation. Experience may have been gained as a technology or development lead or similar or through digital project or product management.

  • Technical understanding and experience in Identity technologies and architectural best practice, specifically 1 or more of the following;

    • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts (specifically Forgerock)

    • APIs and integration technologies

    • Familiarity of Omni Channel concepts and identity challenges with non Digital workflow

    • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (specifically Sitecore) and Master data Management

    • .net technologies and Microsoft stack (ideally a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM)

    • Analytics

    • Working knowledge of architectural principles (BCS certification or TOGAF would be an advantage)

  • Proven experience of gathering, interpreting and managing business requirements and translating into market leading digital solutions and the full project lifecycle.

  • Exposure and passion for new and emerging technologies and trends.

  • A motivated and confident self starter who uses initiative and drive to get things done.

  • A great communicator who can liaise easily with technical developers and non-technical colleagues alike.

  • Enthusiastic, passionate and innovative.
