UX Engineer

To further our expansion, we are now recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced UI/UX Designer to align to our direct-to-consumer development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping deliver continuous improvement for our award-winning client facing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UX principles and practices, as well as experience with front-end development.

What does the job involve?

  • Create and deliver consistent, user-focused designs across mobile, tablet and desktop.
  • Facilitate discovery and creative workshops with key stakeholders.
  • Lead the conversation and advise teams on the best features and functionality to enhance the user journey.
  • Document and lead creation of design standards to be followed by existing and new team members.
  • Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of our visual identity.
  • Advise teams and ensure that products/features meet requirements across various user journey personas.
  • Design and develop email marketing campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships across teams, particularly within the product, Marketing and content teams.
  • Experience in creating design systems that enhances the UI approach.
  • Collaborate within a cross functional team, Partnering with other members of UX/UI team.

About you:

  • Multiple years of experience in UX design and/or front-end development.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and practices.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience with prototyping.
  • UI Development (HTML/SCSS) for enterprise products.
  • Experience working with a design system.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing flows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for UX and a desire to make a positive impact on the user experience.
