Due to our continued success, we need a creative thinker, a confident writer who understands SEO and a social media guru-in-the-making to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone who can take a flat brief and turn it into an exciting piece of creative content that has the power to stop doomscrolling in its tracks, and build authentic connections between brands and audiences.

We’re a small but perfectly formed team of creatives and brand innovators here at EQ, so there’s plenty of knowledge to tap into, and you’ll be working alongside our Head of Brand and Content on all campaigns.

This is a junior position, so we’re not expecting you to have bags of experience, but what we do want is an enthusiastic, driven, self-starter with knowledge of digital marketing and lots of ambition.

This is a fun and varied role that will give you excellent insights into social media and content marketing.

Key responsibilities

  • Copywriting - blogs, long-form SEO copywriting and social media content
  • Social media account management - writing, scheduling and monitoring performance
  • Social listening - helping us stay up-to-date with social trends
  • Community Management - helping us build connections with engaged audiences
  • Competitor research to inform reactive content opportunities
  • Website updates - uploads, basic HTML
  • Ensuring brand consistency throughout various marketing projects
  • Liaising between the marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry developments
  • Designing graphic content, illustrations, and infographics (desirable but not essential)

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, spelling and grammar
  • A good standard of education – University degree in a marketing subject or creative writing would be desirable
  • Understanding of social media and emerging trends
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and/or Google equivalents
  • Working experience with image design tools e.g. Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

(desirable, not essential)

  • Can make an outstanding brew (essential, not desirable)

Benefits and perks

  • Hybrid working environment
  • More than just a job, you'll be truly valued
  • Carve your own career path by working in a rapidly growing, client-centric agency
  • An enriching, positive working environment
  • Yearly training budget
  • Flexi-time
  • Pension
  • Food. Coffee... Endless coffee
  • Everything you need to do the job
  • Annual holidays
  • Fun team-building activities
  • Never work a full day on your birthday

The position is an excellent opportunity for those starting out in their career in marketing.
So if storytelling is your superpower, big problems don’t phase you, and you're OK with us singing badly in the office - then this could be the role for you.
