Will Tarpey joins the firm with over 8 years experience designing websites and digital interfaces, specialising in UI, UX and interaction design. Over the years he has created for some of the world’s best known organisations, such as Disney, Nike, Hallmark, BBC, Manchester City FC, Manchester Pride and AO.
On joining the agency, Will said: “I’ve always had a focus on being a design practitioner and working hands on with a variety of client work is ultimately what I enjoy the most. Dawn gave me the opportunity to maintain involvement with a range of digital design work whilst broadening my skillset and to learn more about branding and motion.”
Will added: “In my career so far, I’ve created things like the BBC knockout tournament tables for the Qatar World Cup in 2022, which was used by over 5 million people in a month, so that was pretty exciting. Also, a logo I designed for JCT600, the sponsors of Bradford City, was on the Bradford City kits, so seeing my designs on FIFA was quite a pinch-me moment. I’m looking forward to working with new brands at Dawn, and getting into some exciting projects.”
David O’Hearns, Managing Director of Dawn, said: “Following the rebrand earlier this year, we’ve put a stronger focus on the digital arm of the business. We have some incredibly talented designers and developers, and Will’s experience in digital design is the perfect addition to our team. Someone who can bring innovative ideas around the UX of the websites we create, and work alongside both teams in harmony.”
Dawn has three core pillars: brand, digital and motion. The agency’s main service offerings include brand strategy, rebranding, and website design and development, alongside motion graphics and brand management.
